The murder of Noida teenaged school girl Aarushi Talwar and her domestic help Hemraj appears to be the work of some professional who could be a doctor or a butcher, a senior Uttar Pradesh police official said in Lucknow on Wednesday.
"The way in which the throat of Aarushi was cut points out that it is the work of some professional who could be a doctor or a butcher," Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Brijalal told reporters when asked about the case.
He said a 5cm deep wound on the Aarushi's vocal cord was found and the way in which the throat was slit pointed to to a professional hand.
The investigation is going on in the case and it would be worked out soon, he said.Meanwhile, reacting for the first time since Aarushi's murder on May 16, her father Rajesh Talwar spoke to the media and reportedly denied knowing anything related to the murder.Aarushi's parents were questioned by the STF on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Talwar said, "I am not aware of anything related to Aarushi's murder and if I would have known I would have given details to the media."
The family had been under scanner for giving unsatisfactory and different statements to the Noida police.
Aarushi's parents have not been friendly towards the media and press regarding the murder case.
